26.

How to calculate the 3D length a line from an elevation surface (e.g. DEM).

The 3D distance of a line along an elevation surface (for example, the length of a trail) can be added to the line attribute table by using the Add Surface Information tool.  Minimum, maximum and mean elevation and slope can also be retrieved. The tool can interpolate along a line with only a starting and ending point; it does not require spaced vertices.  Other options exist for points, multipoints and polygons.  Slope values are given in percent grade(!), not degrees.
