Lab 8 Data

I. The Data - Spring, 2010 Read before downloading!

  Each of files to the right is linked to an Excel spreadsheet.  To dowload a file from a Windows browser, right-click on the link, choose "Save Target As..", specify a location to save the file to, and click OK.  Clicking on a file directly may open it in Excel, but you will be working on the file across the web, a slow, unreliable and impermanent method which does not provide an obvious way to save your work.  Work from a downloaded file that is saved to a disk, not one on the web!  

• The file "Lab8data_updated2010.xls" is an Excel workbook containing 10 worksheets; one each for data and a graph for each station, a sheet with a table to compile all of the statistics, and a chart showing a map of the East Mall with the GPS results.  This file contains all of the data and tables needed to complete the lab. 
• The file "Table_template_09.xls" is an Excel worksheet containing only the table needed to compile the GPS statistics. This is the same table that is in your lab manual.

Please contact me or your T.A. immediately if you have difficulty downloading any of these files.

II. To turn in:

1. A completed paper copy of "Table_template_09".
2. Answers to the questions contained within the Lab 8 write-up of the Lab Manual.
